Why We Ferried Ezekwesili, BBOG Members To Our Station – Police THE Nigeria Police on Wednesday explained why it ferried the convener of the Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG), Obiageli Ezekwesili, and some of her group members from the Unity Fountain to its headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday. Ezekwesili, a former minister, yesterday through her verified Twitter handle, @obyezeks, alleged that she alongside other members of her group was been arrested and detained by the police. She and her group members were later ferried in a hilux van to the police command at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). But the police in a statement by it spokesman, DSP Anjuguri Manzah said they were only brought to the Abuja command to forestall breakdown of law and order. “The FCT Police Command wishes to clear the air and set the record straight that it did not arrest or detain Prof Oby Ezekwesili and some members of the Bring Back Our Girls group (BBOG) as being speculated on some social media platforms....
